February 13, 2013: "Shop in the Name of Love" at Ruxton Station
Inaugural Event Benefiting the One Love Foundation
Ruxton Station will host “Shop in the Name of Love,” a day of shopping on February 13, 2013 (the day before Valentine's Day), to raise money and awareness for the One Love Foundation. The mission of the One Love Foundation is to end Relationship Violence through technology and education.
WHEN: Wednesday, February 13, 2013 (February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month)
TIME: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: Special celebration featuring entertainment, food and drinks.
- Entertainment featuring the Semiquavers A Capella group from Roland Park Country School

DETAILS: The One Love Foundation was launched in 2010 to honor the memory of Yeardley Reynolds Love. Ruxton Station is joining the efforts of the One Love Foundation to combat Relationship Violence by hosting the inaugural “Shop for Love” day. On February 13, 10% of purchases made by shoppers wearing a special One Love Foundation ribbon will be donated to the foundation.
Food/Beverages and entertainment will be featured from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., and each participating shop will be decorated with blue and white balloons. Select stores will also have a signature One Love Foundation item for sale at the event where proceeds will be donated to the foundation.
