THE OPPORTUNITY

One Love Foundation is looking for a passionate and savvy Digital Communications Manager to oversee and grow our digital engagement. The organization is at an inflection point where our growth is increasing, and it is time for the digital education component of our work to be accelerated. We are a fast-moving, hungry team that balances planned and opportunistic campaigns in our national strategy. This position would need to work across departments and programs to make sure we are properly leveraging our digital presence in the most effective way.

 

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes:

This individual will lead One Love’s efforts to use digital communication channels to expand our educational reach and increase our constituents’ engagement with our work. Specifically, that work will include:

  • Web Site: Manage and develop joinonelove.org as an education and campaign platform, including direct responsibility for coding and design
  • Email Marketing: Build annual email marketing strategies that compliment One Love’s broader messaging and engagement goals. Manage email strategy to effectively communicate with diverse groups of audience by making use of advanced features in Pardot and Salesforce
  • SMS: Explore technologies like SMS to more regularly and effectively engage our constituents in this work
  • Analytics: Oversee analytics across these channels (as well as social media) to find actionable insights that can further our reach and effectiveness. Improve the efficiencies of internal processes and systems, such as data collection and reporting
  • Team: Be a collaborative member of One Love’s marketing team, supervising and growing the digital and technical team over time, and serving as lead contact for all digital vendors

Qualifications & Attributes:

Professional Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited organization or relevant experience
  • 3 – 5 years experience in digital communications/marketing role
  • Detail oriented digital project management experience
  • Software Experience:
    o Email management expertise with Pardot or similar eCRM
    o CRM: fluency with Salesforce
    o Website: expertise with WordPress (i.e. content update, plugin update, user role management, etc)
    o Analytics: expertise with Google Analytics
    o Familiarity with HTML and CSS
    o Familiarity with design and video software for digital media creation
  • Expertise in content marketing and SEO based digital marketing and lead conversion
  • Strong project management skills with ability to communicate effectively with Salesforce and web developers
  • A keen eye for design
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The compensation and benefits package are competitive with comparable nonprofits in the region. The position is based in Westchester County, New York, a 35-minute train ride from Grand Central Station in Manhattan.
