The Pookie Trot 5k Walk/Run is in honor of Amy ‘Pooks’ Armstrong — a beautiful 28-year old daughter, sister and friend whose life was tragically cut short by relationship abuse. Whether you know Amy or not, this fundraising event has been created to let her light live on. Because that’s what Amy embodied most — a bright, shining light that lit up every life she touched.
