Can I register on Race Day?
Yes! You will be able to register at check in, but we highly recommend registering before you arrive.
Is this event family friendly?
Yes! We will have fun for the whole family for an evening of community fun including: Local Food Favorites, Live Entertainment, Kid’s Corner and More!
Can I donate and not participate in the walk?
Yes! You can donate to move for love by clicking the link below. You can support a participant, a team, or just make a general donation to support the event.

Is Fundraising required?
Fundraising is not required but encouraged! In 2022, on average participants raised $237 Start there and see how far you can go!
Where do I pick up my Bib and Shirt?
On the morning of Move for Love, you will follow all the signage to Check-in. You will be able to get your bib and t-shirt there.
Can I run the course?
This year’s event will be a walk only due to the layout of the route. This is all about moving your body to raise awareness about healthy relationships!
Can I walk with a stroller?
Yes!
Can I Bike/ Scoot/Skate instead of run?
Unfortunately, not. The course is only open to walking and participants with adaptive use devices.
How old do you have to be to participate in this race?
Everyone is welcome! We recommend registering children that will be walking any portion of the course on their own.
Is bag check provided?
Yes. When you arrive, you will follow signage for bag check.
What onsite activities will there be?
– Special Appearances by the Maryland Zoo’s Animal Ambassadors
– Entry to Zoo
Can I bring my Pet?
Pets are not allowed on Zoo grounds, including the parking lot. Service Animals are permitted as determined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Is there a registration fee?
Adult registration is $50. Youth registration for students 18 and under is $25, with a valid student ID. Children 5 and under are free.
